• To break the sole dominance of global social media platforms that promote constant noise over (local) context.

What this is

grx.red is a curated index/directory of creative people in Granada province. It is:

• An entrypoint and overview over Granada´s creativity potential.
• Desigend to be referenced not constantly consumed.
• Accurate, atomic and not loud.
• Reflects the local reality not the manufactured virtual reality.

What is this not

grx.red is not:

• A social network.
• A feed or a timeline of activities.
• A place to post and promote content.
• A popularity system.
• A platform that rewards attention and activity over local relevance.

What this will never be

grx.red will never:

• Be a social platform!
• Be a premium service for members with paid plans!
• Will never violate the peoples pledge under https://people.pledge.party/

How this works

grx.red asks for accuracy, not engagement. Profiles can remain unchanged for long periods and still be valid. In return, the project offers representation without pressure: a way to be findable locally without having to self-promote. Presence matters here more than visibility.

Why local still matters

Most global platforms are built for immediacy and scale. They reward what is constant, fast, and visible, but struggle with memory, continuity, and context. This project chooses a different rhythm. It exists to remain useful even when nothing changes and to document presence without urgency, and to make local creative life legible beyond the moment. grx.red is designed to grow slowly - It is designed to last.
